ABOUT ME

My name is Crystal, and I made it through law school—so can you!

Law School Things was born from my own struggles in law school. Faced with immediate challenges, I decided to create my own study guides, which have not only helped me but also benefited over 500 others in making law school a bit more manageable.

Remember, it’s normal to face difficulties; law school is both emotionally and physically taxing. I hope these clear, straightforward guides help you navigate the extensive material you'll encounter.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or just need to talk to someone who understands what you’re going through. Take comfort in knowing that these challenges are strengthening you. We’re training to care for real lives and real families.

I'VE BEEN IN YOUR SHOES

Law School can be isolating. Although it’s not frequently discussed, it’s important to address. During those times of uncertainty and self-doubt, when you’re alone and buried under material, it can feel incredibly lonely.

I recall studying alone in my room during my first semester and wondering, “Are others feeling as overwhelmed as I am?” and “Maybe I’m not cut out for Law School.”

If I can offer any encouragement, it’s this: You are NOT alone! Every Law Student has faced these same feelings and challenges.

CHALLENGING BUT WORTH IT

Law School is not easy. In fact, it might be one of the most challenging experiences you’ll ever encounter. From a broader perspective, I realized that I grew a lot during those solitary moments.

I developed greater maturity, improved my critical thinking, became more considerate of others, enhanced my time management, and so much more.

When you’re feeling the growing pains of Law School, remember that you’re evolving and being shaped into the lawyer you aspire to be.
